2020 to present

2022

North Minneapolis: Delivered biochar and compost for a community garden and education center.

2020

Tangletown: Used pollinator mix and biochar compost for plantings on 15 boulevards and community rain gardens. These features improved stormwater management while creating pollinator habitat.

Windom: Used compost biochar in 44 community garden raised beds.

2017 to 2019

2019

Highway 55/Hiawatha: Minneapolis Public Works and Hennepin County worked together. They rebuilt the median of Hiawatha between 42nd and 46th streets.

  • Placed a biochar compost in the median
  • Planted a low maintenance pollinator mix and 40 trees

2017

Chicago Avenue: The City worked with Pillsbury United Communities.They used a compost biochar mix to create a community garden on a vacant lot in Ventura Village.
