Our services

We support victims and witnesses in cases being prosecuted by our office by:

Explaining your rights and help you understand legal process
Updating you on the status of the case
Supporting your participation in the court process, including:
- Going to the courtroom with you when there is a hearing
- Preparing you to give testimony
- Reading your victim impact statement if you don't want to do it yourself
Advocating for you by:
- Making sure prosecutors consider your input
- Being your liaison to criminal justice agencies, such as law enforcement and corrections
Help you file requests for restitution
Refer you to appropriate counseling and other support services
