What is changing?

Utility Billing's payment processor is changing from KUBRA to Paymentus.

What payment methods and payment options are available?

You will be able to pay your bill with VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, echeck, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay.

When will the new system be implemented?

Utility Billing is implementing the new payment system with Paymentus on June 25, 2025.  The KUBRA payment system will continue to be available until June 25th.  Users will need to update stored payment or recurring payment information on the new system on or after June 25, 2025.

Will there be an interruption of online bill payment services during the update?

No, the payment system will remain available during the transition on June 25th.

If I am a pre-existing user of the former online payment system, will I need to re-register?

Your web username will stay the same. You will need to make a new password and update any saved payments or automatic payments. The old KUBRA system will be deactivated, and your stored payment info will be safely deleted.

The new system will continue to take credit cards and eChecks payments as well as new digital wallet options.

What payment types are subject to a fee?

Minneapolis does not charge additional fees for any of our online or IVR phone payments.
