MPD Records Information Unit Pre-paid Account

How to create an account

Submit a Prepaid Account Form to the MPD Records Unit and a check or money order made payable to the "City of Minneapolis". There is no minimum amount required to open a prepaid account but you will want to provide enough funds to cover future data requests.

Once your account has been created, you will have the ability to make requests for data created by the Minneapolis Police Department and in accordance with Minnesota State Statute 13.82

When your your account reaches a balance of $50.00 or less, you will be notified and asked to submit another payment. Accounts with a zero balance are considered inactive and requests are not fulfilled until the account is replenished with funds.

the job title of the three highest paid employees along with their base salary. For 2018 these were:

2. Assistant City Coordinator Convention Center, $183,600
3. Director Public Works, $181,191
