Public meeting to discuss future of West 29th Street

The future of West 29th Street between Hennepin Avenue South and Lyndale Avenue South will be discussed at an upcoming public meeting. The street, which runs parallel to the Midtown Greenway, is in need of a full reconstruction. It’s also been identified as an important pedestrian connection.

The City of Minneapolis is using this reconstruction as an opportunity to look at making 29th Street a special place that creates safe and inviting walking connections and potentially adds greenery, gathering space or other amenities.

Open house on West 29th Street reconstruction
6 – 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 27,
Elan Community Room, 2837 Dupont Ave S

The open house will be a chance for you to get information about the street and share your own experiences and visions for its future design.
