Mayor Betsy Hodges
Welcome! Thank you for making your way to my website. Here you will find information about my vision for our city and the work that we will be doing to grow our great city, continue to run it well, and eliminate the gaps between white people and people of color in Minneapolis, which harm all of us. When we accomplish this work together, there will be no limit to our greatness.
Please visit this site often, as we will update it often with our progress. You may also follow me on Facebook and Twitter, or read my latest post on my blog, mayorhodges.com. If you have ideas, suggestions or requests, please submit them at the link provided on this page. My staff and I look forward to hearing from you.
Please also join me in remembering the tragic New Year’s Day fire on Cedar Avenue, and the people, businesses and community organizations that it most affected. The fire is a special blow to our Somali–American community, but when it tragedy strikes some of us, it strikes all of us. We are one Minneapolis and our entire city stands with our neighbors in Cedar–Riverside.
If you wish to help, please contact the Red Cross at (612) 871-7676 or at www.redcross.org/mn/minneapolis. And if you have any information that will help investigators solve the origin of the fire, please call (612) 673-3070.
Thank you for honoring me with the opportunity to serve as your mayor.
