The Licenses and Consumer Services Division regulates approximately 950 taxi vehicles and 1300 taxi drivers in Minneapolis. Our goal is to provide an adequate supply of safe, affordable, and reliable taxi services to our residents and visitors. Our priorities include:

Taxi Driver Licenses expire June 30, 2015
Renewal Applications for 2016 licenses are due now. If we do not receive your application by June 15th, we cannot guarantee your Service Company will receive your new license by June 30th. Duplicate Billing Statements (gray sheets) are available at our office. All applications submitted after June 30th must add a 20% late fee.
