What is a grant, and what does RFP stand for?

A grant is a way the government funds your ideas and projects to provide public services. Grants support critical recovery initiatives, innovative research, and a variety of other programs.

An RFP or RFA is a request for proposal or application. The City of Minneapolis occasionally posts Request for Proposal (RFP) for professional and other services on this website. The Request for Proposal process is coordinated by the department in need of the services.
