The City of Minneapolis is seeking input on the Green on Fourth Apartments Housing Development Plan and the Green on Fourth Apartments Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Plan (collectively, the “Plans”).
The Plans have been prepared to facilitate the construction of a 243-unit mixed-income apartment building on a former industrial site at 2901 4th Street SE near the Prospect Park light rail station in southeast Minneapolis.
The Green on Fourth Apartments Housing Development Plan establishes a new housing development project and identifies its boundary, redevelopment objectives, and land use provisions.
The Green on Fourth Apartments TIF Plan establishes a new housing TIF district to help finance various public redevelopment costs and to establish a budget for the use of tax increment revenue generated by the new TIF district.
