What to know

Rules for ice cream trucks

Unless you have a temporary food permit, you may not operate an ice cream truck within 2,000 feet of any:

  • City, county or state fair
  • Carnival
  • Circus
  • Festival
  • Public event

Requirement

Ice cream trucks must

  • Provide liability insurance in the amount of:
    • $25,000 single and $50,000 multiple coverage for individuals
    • $5,000 for property damage
