You can apply to be part of the team that reviews Partnership Engagement Fund applications.

What to know

By completing this form, you are applying for a spot on the Partnership Engagement Fund (PEF) review panel.

  • The work primarily takes place in March.
  • It can take up to nine hours.
  • You will have to:
    • Attend a reviewer pre-meeting online.
    • Read and score applications.
    • Attend an evaluation/reviewer discussion in person.
    • Compile and submit scores.

Timeline

  • We contacted volunteers by March 4 to serve on the 2024 panel.
  • You can apply for a spot on the 2025 panel anytime.

Qualifications and selection

You must be a Minneapolis resident

Reviewers must be residents of Minneapolis and:

  • Be passionate about and committed to the Minneapolis community.
  • Personally identify with a particular community served by proposals under review.
  • Have a clear understanding of the community and neighborhoods they represent on the panel.
  • Have a keen eye for potential, more than perfection.

You cannot serve on the panel if you are part of an organization applying for funding.

The review team will reflect our community

We select a mix of people who:

  • Live and work in different parts of the city.
  • Understand our cultural communities.
  • Are members of historically underrepresented communities.
  • Know about important issues like unsheltered populations, youth, seniors, and immigrants and refugees

Reviewers must sign a conflict of interest form and keep the process confidential.
