Public hearing Sept. 12 on the METRO Blue Line extension design plans

August 16, 2024

You can comment on preliminary design plans for the METRO Blue Line Extension project. The extension is a proposed light rail transit project. It will extend the existing Blue Line from Target Field Station through north Minneapolis to Brooklyn Park. The project is co-led by the Metropolitan Council and Hennepin County.

The project can improve the speed and reliability of transit; help make streets safer for all modes of travel; make progress toward climate goals; and make it easier to reach resources, school and work.
