Neighborhood streets in the area extending from France Ave S to Xerxes Ave S, and from 47th St W to 54th St W.

Fulton

Project overview

The city is planning to improve the streets in the western part of the Fulton neighborhood. The project will include the following elements:

  • Storm sewer improvements
    • We’ll improve underground storm sewer pipes to help with urban flooding
  • Pavement work
    • We’ll do work ranging from pavement resurfacing to street reconstruction
  • Safety improvements
    • We’ll evaluate changes to the existing street configuration to improve safety.
      • This includes
        • Installing an accessible curb ramp at corners where there is a need
        • Intersection improvements to make it safer to walk across the street
        • Installation of all ages and abilities bikeway connections

Project schedule

The planning and public input phase is underway now (2024). We anticipate that work will begin in 2025 and will be phased over the next several years.
