Project overview

The original storm sewer and outfall to the Minnehaha Creek were built in the 1930s. The project will replace the older sewer with larger pipes to lower the chance of flooding. We will replace the outfall to Minnehaha Creek with a pipe. The new storm sewer will:

• Reduce the need for future maintenance
• Improve the water quality going to the creek
• Be installed in the same location as the existing storm sewer

Roadwork and utility work involves use of heavy equipment that will increase noise, vibration, and dust in work areas.
