Pedestrian street lighting
The City upgrades pedestrian-level street lighting in select areas each year.
Program overview
We upgrade lighting on streets, in neighborhood business areas and in key pedestrian activity centers.
We choose locations based on City inspections and on the following factors:
- Access to transit
- Overall traffic and pedestrian volumes
- Business use
