Minnehaha Residential resurfacing
The City will remove and add a new layer of asphalt to the streets in the Minnehaha residential area.

In 2023, City staff will resurface the streets in this area. We replace the top layer of asphalt pavement to extend the life of a street. The new pavement should last at least 10 years.
ADA pedestrian ramp upgrades
We will also be upgrading all existing street corners to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This work will be completed before the resurfacing process begins.
Schedule
- A virtual public hearing was held on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023.
- Select curb and gutter replacement work to begin the week of May 15th, 2023.
- Mill and Overlay to begin the week of July 24th, 2023.
- Remaining locations will be milled and overlayed the week of October 30th, 2023.

Traffic impacts
Blocks will be intermittently closed to traffic during asphalt milling and paving for brief periods of time.
