Loring Greenway
Project overview
This project will make some important improvements to the Loring Greenway. The Loring Greenway connects Nicollet Mall to Loring Park by a series of open spaces. The City is going to fix up things like the paths, signs, places to sit, walls, and lights that are old and not working well. This includes making the Loring Greenway ADA accessible.
Project purpose
The purpose of this project is to repair and upgrade the aging Loring Greenway in Downtown Minneapolis. The part of the greenway that runs through the Loring Park neighborhood. The City has a program called All Ages and Abilities Bikeway Network. The bike network's purpose is to make it easier and safer for people of all ages and abilities to ride their bikes. This project has been identified as a part of that network. The greenway connects important places like parks, homes, and stores. These updates will make it easier for people to get around and enjoy these destinations.
