Hiawatha LRT trail crossing
We're making improvements to the trail crossing at 26th St. E. and Hiawatha Ave. next to the Light Rail Train track.

To improve safety across this highly traveled intersection, Public Works has been undertaking improvements.
Timeline
2018 and 2019
The signals were upgraded at this trail crossing.
2020
The trail crossing distance will be reduced. A bump out will be constructed and the pedestrian ramps will be upgraded to become ADA compliant.
