Project overview

In 2022, City staff will resurface the streets in this area. In this ongoing street maintenance program, we replace the top layer of asphalt pavement to extend the life of a street between larger reconstructions. The new pavement should last about 10 years.

ADA pedestrian ramp upgrades

We have identified this area as a pilot project for upgrading all existing street corners to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).  This work is now complete, and was funded separately.

Schedule

We will begin mill and overlay on the blocks between Bloomington Ave S and Cedar Ave S the week of August 1st.

We will begin mill and overlay on the streets east of Cedar Ave the week of Aug 22nd.
