Project overview

This project is part of an ongoing street maintenance program. We replace the top layer of asphalt pavement, which extends the life of a street between larger reconstructions. The new pavement should last about 10 years.

Schedule

This project is in progress starting the week of April 25, 2022.  Crews will begin by replacing select curb and gutter.  We will mill and overlay the street on May 6^th and 7^th.  City crews will paint the striping on the road shortly after this is complete

Traffic impacts

58^th St E between 28^th Ave S and 34^th Ave S will be closed and detoured May 6^th and 7^th. The 34^th St ramp to Highway 62 will be closed during this time.
