Our plans for Minnehaha 3000

A new use for 3000 Minnehaha Ave.

The City is planning to renovate the former 3rd precinct police building into a democracy center. It will house Elections and Voter Services and a large ground-floor space for community use.

This includes:

  • Early Vote Center
  • Offices for election staff
  • Flexible space for election-related equipment and supplies
  • 8,000 square feet space for lease to a community partner

We have engaged with the public to explore the democracy center.
