We fund new projects that will reduce pollution and greenhouse gas.
Do not apply for funding for projects you've started or finished.
Innovative pollution reduction
You can apply for up to $150,000 in funds to reduce air pollution.
Eligible properties
Your property must:
- Be Located in the City of Minneapolis
- Fall into one of the following categories
- Business/Commercial
- Industrial
- Multifamily (3 units of More)
- Nonprofit
Eligible projects
You can apply if your project has measurable air pollution savings of one of the following.
- Greenhouse gasses
- Hazardous air pollutants (HAPs)
- Nitrogen oxide (NOx)
- Particulate matter (PM 2.5 and 10)
- Sulfur oxides (SOx)
- Volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
You should have a third-party verify the reduction.
Incentives
The Green Cost Share review committee will recommend the match amount, based on your:
- Business size and location
- Project cost, impact and innovation
The match:
- Can be up to 45% of the total project cost
- Cannot be more than $150,000
