Overview

The City of Minneapolis purchased the Peoples’ Way property at 3744 Chicago Ave in June 2023. The City is working with the community to identify a community owner and use for the site. The City issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) in September 2024.

The City is hosting an engagement event 5-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 26 to meet the applicants and share your feedback on the future of People's Way. Learn more and RSVP.

  • Seeking input on the RFQ applicants who have applied to become the future community owner
  • Holding community events in February and March and public meetings in May 2025
