Child Friendly City
UNICEF recognized Minneapolis as the second "Child Friendly City" in the nation. This award honors cities committed to improving the lives of children.
Veteran-friendly city
The City of Minneapolis supports veteran employees and their families. The City was named the first "Beyond the Yellow Ribbon” organization in Minnesota.
AAA credit rating
The City continues to earn a AAA credit rating, the highest rating possible.
