Ways to file an appeal
Online
By mail
To mail an appeal, follow the instructions on the:
- Administrative citation
- Notice of Intent to Assess letter
- Utility Billing mailing
In person
To submit an appeal in person, bring it to the City of Minneapolis Service Center.
Deadlines
Administrative citation appeal
- You must file an administrative citation appeal within 25 days of the date the citation was issued.
- The due date is on the citation.
Special assessment appeal
You must file a special assessment appeal by the due date on the Notice of Intent to Assess letter you received in the mail.
Utility billing dispute
You must file a utility billing dispute at least 15 days before the scheduled hearing date.
