Advertising and marketing development request for proposals

The City is now accepting proposals for the development of advertising and marketing.

Overview

We are looking for proposals for a full-service advertising and/or marketing agency. The agency will develop a marketing campaign to promote services provided by the Health Department.

Goals

Proposals should outline a comprehensive marketing plan with recommendations to meet our goals.

Our goals are to:

  • Increase awareness
  • Encourage and increase participation
  • Educate the public on health, financial and environmental benefits
  • Increase awareness and participation in the Northside and Southside Green Zones

The agency will work with the department to communicate public health messaging to multiple audiences.

Funding

  • Estimated contract dates: March 2025 - Dec. 31, 2025 (9 months)
  • Based on the availability of funding, there will be an option to extend the contract on an annual basis for:
    • Up to four more years if there is one awarded organization
    • Up to two more years if there is more than one awarded organization

Application requirements

Proposals should outline a comprehensive marketing plan and timeline of meetings and deliverables. 

The plan must include:

  • Social media
  • Digital and print
  • Out of home
  • Over the top
  • Radio/video
  • Neighborhood and business toolkits
  • Door knocking

The plan may include, but is not required to include: 

  • Influencer program with the agency identifying influencers and contracting with them to promote a topic or area
  • Additional recommended components to strengthen the campaign
