Adolescent mental health request for proposals

The City is now accepting proposals to help trusted adults support the mental health of young people.

Overview

We are looking to fund organizations that support youth mental health.
This includes projects that provide:
  • Training on adolescent development and mental health
  • Strategies to reduce mental health stigma
  • New ways to connect adults with community resources that support youth mental health

Funding 

  • Applicants may apply for up to $30,000
  • Projects will be funded for nine months (January through September 2025)

Eligible applicants include:

  • Non-profit and for-profit organizations
  • Faith based organizations
  • Other organizations serving Minneapolis residents such as:
    • Health care
    • Neighborhood groups
    • Schools
    • Libraries
    • Parks
    • After school programs
    • Organizations focused on specific communities or areas
