Grants and funding

Grant funds come from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Grant programs we manage include:

  • Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
  • HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME)
  • Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)
  • Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) entitlement funding

Goals for our resources

The plan also describes the City's goals for its HUD resources. Our goals are to:

  • Provide decent affordable housing
  • Develop housing and services for those experiencing homelessness
  • Provide special needs housing
  • Expand economic opportunities
