Charitable gifts and donations
The City of Minneapolis accepts donations of money, supplies and services.
Guidelines
The City Council must approve all donations.
Donations can be for:
- General use
- Specific City use
City rules about gifts
City officials cannot accept gifts from people who do business with the City.
City officials include people who:
- Buy things from the City
- Advise the City on purchases
- Recommend things to the City to buy
