What we do

We provide the City Council with:

Nonpartisan analysis.
Professional consulting.
Support in their role to review and evaluate policies and programs, as authorized in the City Charter.

Our division received funding for the first time in the 2024 City budget.

We are working with City Council to further develop the services we will be providing.

The city auditor appoints the director of Oversight & Evaluation.
