Law enforcement agencies across the state use drones to safely gather information during an emergency. State law requires an agency provide an opportunity for public comment before purchasing or using a drone.

Public hearing held

There was a public hearing on August 24 at the Public Health & Safety Committee. City Council accepted those comments at its meeting on August 25, 2022.
