City employees can check their email online using a web browser.

Use webmail

Any City of Minneapolis employee who has a personal Outlook e-mail account can use webmail.  You can use webmail from anywhere that you have access to a computer and the Internet. 

This includes:

  • Home
  • The library
  • A cyber café

How to sign in

  1. Use your City email address for the account.
  2. When prompted for your password, enter your City network password.
  3. Click Sign in.
  4. Do not check the "Keep me signed in" box that saves your password.
  5. Click Sign out when you’re done. Close your browser.

Webmail is designed to work with:

  • Chrome
  • Edge
  • Firefox
  • Safari, though some features may display differently

Some browsers may default to the light version of webmail. Light version may not have some features.

Webmail is for City of Minneapolis employees only. Any unauthorized access is strictly not allowed.

Remember: State Data Practices Law governs your use of your City e-mail account. It's considered public.
