Your commitment

When you sign a job linkage agreement, you are saying that your business:

• Will attempt to fill vacant positions with Minneapolis residents.
• May receive a prepayment credit toward the principal balance of the loan.

Prepayment credits explained

The City issues loan prepayment credits for each Minneapolis resident:

• You hire during the first three years of the loan, and
• Employ full-time for a year

How it works

• Your first repayment credit is issued 18 months after you close on the loan.
• Additional prepayment credits are offered every 12 months over the next two years.
