What to know
The Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) must be someone present at the business regularly.
- To become a Minnesota Certified Food Protection Manger, you must:
- Take an approved class and pass the test
- Within six months, submit the CFPM application form with your class certificate to Minnesota Department of Health
- CFPM training is available in several languages at multiple locations in the metro area
- Only Minnesota Department of Health CFPM certificates are recognized in Minneapolis
- Your certification lasts for three years
