Licensing

Apply for and receive your license from OCM

You need to know and follow the licensing and operating requirements for your type of business.

Cannabis business licensing will begin in 2025

State license

  • The Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) is making rules and giving licenses to cannabis businesses. Once the rules are final, the licensing process will start.
  • Some businesses may be considered Social Equity Applicants.

Registration

Register with the City

Businesses selling cannabis with a state license must also register with the City.
