Coloplast project up for review

Public Hearing Nov. 27th

The Coloplast Corporation, 1601 West River Road in north Minneapolis, is proposing a new six-story, 90,000-square-foot headquarters office building and 40,000 square feet of new product development space.

The existing manufacturing space will be renovated with a portion of the warehouse space converted to research and development. Two buildings on the site will be demolished. There will be 284 on-site parking spaces.

Two project documents are available for review:

Coloplast Redevelopment Tax Increment Financing Plan, Modification No. 15 to the North Washington Industrial Park Redevelopment Plan (PDF, 21 pages)

View Modification No. 110 to the Common Development and Redevelopment and Common Tax Increment Finance Plan (PDF, 12 pages)

The City Council is expected to consider the proposal Friday, Dec. 7, 2007 following a public hearing at the Community Development Committee on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007.
