Disability Community

People with disabilities do not belong to any one category or label. Similarly, the approach of one size fits all is not effective when engaging with the disability community. The community is diverse and spans across all ethnic and cultural communities. Above all, people with disabilities want to live their lives like everyone else. Many regularly engage in activities, community organizing and civic participation.
