Welcome to the City of Minneapolis!
Minneapolis is an innovative, dynamic and vibrant world-class city where valued and supported employees take pride in public service. Join us and you’ll discover a diverse, inclusive, and rewarding work environment.
The City of Minneapolis is now using Team Minneapolis (powered by NEOGOV) as our online application system. It modernizes the City's online hiring software, providing an easy-to-use, intuitive application process.
All job openings will be processed through Team Minneapolis, including internal jobs available only to current City employees. To apply for a job at the City after Dec.15:
Create a new account or use an existing account with NEOGOV (GovernmentJobs.com) to apply for a position at the City of Minneapolis.
Applications and applicant information submitted in the former system will not transfer over to the new online application system. Applications submitted for a job opening prior to Dec. 15 are being reviewed and processed, and no further action needs to be taken by applicants.
To create an account with NEOGOV, a valid email address is required.
An updated resume is useful when creating an initial account. Uploading a resume will pre-populate corresponding fields within the online application, reducing the amount of data entry needed.
After an application is submitted in Team Minneapolis, that application information will be available to use and update on subsequent applications.
To view current job openings, click on a Job Openings button below. How To Apply contains instructions on creating an account and completing an application.
Important note: Documents, such as a resume, can be uploaded within the online application. However, a resume does not replace the online application form! Submitting a resume in lieu of a completed application will be considered incomplete and may result in disqualification without further consideration.
Thank you for your interest in employment at the City of Minneapolis.
The following job opportunities are for appointed or temporary/intern positions that do not require an online application. View the job posting, then email a cover letter and resume to the contact listed for consideration.
