Free Trees
for
Minneapolis Businesses

Green Business Logo

Minneapolis businesses and non-profit organizations are eligible for free trees planted on their properties. Tree Trust will help choose, place and plant the trees.

The business or non-profits's only obligation is to water and maintain the trees.

Why getting trees is important (pdf)

To qualify, businesses must:

  1. Have enough green space to accommodate a tree or trees.
  2. Maintain and water the trees (especially the first two years).

In each planting season trees will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Trees are planted in the spring and in the fall.
