Bossen Terrace

5715 Sander Drive

The 66-unit Bossen Terrace project was originally developed in 1982. Over half of the units are handicap accessible and all have project-based Section 8 rental assistance (contract expiration: 2002).

The Bossen Terrace project was a very high priority for the city of Minneapolis. It is located well outside all areas of concentration and serves very low-income (100 percent Section 8) large families (36 three bedroom units). 36 units are handicap accessible. The area was undergoing considerable instability due to increasing crime, gang and drug activity and was in need of significant rehabilitation.
